The band enjoyed playing today despite the weather at the Saddleworth Whit Friday March. It was a joint venture between Witney Town Band, Abingdon Town Band & Bradwell Silver Band.

We played at Scouthead & Austerland, Delph, Dobcross, Greenfield and Lees.

We would like to thank all those who played from the other bands and their supporters. The bus driver did well not knowing the local area and with the problems with the coach that ended our evening prematurely.

The band are rehearsing hard on the London and Southern Counties Contest, 4th Section Test Piece 'The Journel of Phileas Fogg'. Some of the band players attended a workshop, organised by the ODBBA, on Sunday where they invited adjudicator Steve Pritchard-Jones to present his thoughts on Peter Graham's test piece. This gave those who attended assistance in understanding the piece and how it is to be interpreted.

The band have started the Christmas festivities with Carols at Blenheim Palace this weekend. Based in the Main Hall we played over both days filling the house with the sound of Chistmas.

We played to the crowds visiting the Palace and Living Crafts for Christmas exhibition, filling them with festive cheer and entertaining the children with family favourites including The Snowman and Let it Go from Disney's Frozen.

Below is a few photos taken over the two days.
